Specializing in land use law Dorothy Cofield successfully
represented clients (The Dolans and A-Boy Plumbing) as co-counsel before the U.S. Supreme Court as well as providing representation
to the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals, Court of Appeals, and Supreme Court. Dorothy has represented matters
concerning Measure 37 and 49 claims, rural and urban development permits, condemnations, subdivision and partition
applications, zone and urban growth boundary amendments in addition to drafting and lobbying land use legislation before the
1993 and 1995 legislature.
Dorothy has also served as Director of Legal Affairs and as a staff attorney for Oregonians in Action, as a law clerk for the Home Builders Association
of Metro Portland and as a sales associate for Stan Wiley Inc. Realtors.
